Bird Feeder Hanger
The Reason A "Real" Bird Feeder Hanger Is Mandatory
There are certain things in life that are taken for granted. Along with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the common bird feeder hanger is usually never given its proper credit. The reason for this is that a bird feeder hanger looks like nothing more than a chain or rope holding a bird feeder up in the air. If rope or chain can be purchased for under $5, then why would anyone pay $25 for a feeder hanger? Because the hanger has to be properly designed so that it pays attention to proper laws of physics. This allows the hanger to stay hanging and hanging evenly as opposed to bending and twisting in the wind or, worse, detaching from what fastens it and crashing to the ground.
A legitimate bird feeder hanger will properly anchor the hanger and its chain to a sturdy structure that will protect the feeder from falling. If the feeder crashes to the ground, it is going to shatter into a million pieces. What would be the benefit of purchasing a fine bird feeder and then neglectfully put it at such a risk by not fastening it to a proper hanger? Certainly the birds would be mildly annoyed when the feeder crashes, breaks and ants abscond with the birds food! The components of a proper bird feeder hanger include hooks, chains, and fasteners and all of these items work in concert so as to make sure that the bird feeder does not fall to any unnecessary harm. Considering the costs of some bird feeders and the artistry that goes into the design of the feeders, seeing the feeder destroyed due to neglectful fastening is downright criminal. Take the proper precautions with a bird feeder and invest in a decent bird feeder hanger that will keep the feeder safe and sound.
